53. You should target Barnidge in the middle of your fantasy draft. Tight-End. Cleveland Browns. Gary Barnidge. 1. player

There is a reason that Gary Barnidge has earned the title “Big Play Barnidge”. Most people don’t really know his name and call his “Big Play Barnidge(s)”, but that’s okay. At least we know he is getting national attention from all of the sports outlets showing highlights every Sunday afternoon.

Barnidge struggled early on his in NFL career until he exploded with a 1,000 yard and nine touchdown season in 2015. He was able to bring in those great stats with inconsistent quarterback pay that has plagued the Cleveland Browns since football has started.

This season he may have found himself a solid quarterback in former Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III. These two have connected on some big-time routes so far this preseason, leaving room for great optimism about the potential of this upcoming season.

Barnidge has worked himself into a top five tight-end in fantasy football after just one great year in the NFL. There could be a bit of a decrease in production due to the talent Cleveland has added at wide receiver, but Barnidge could be one of the best fantasy players again in 2016.

He is worth taking in the middle rounds of your draft. It is realistic that Barnidge will be a difference maker again this year.
