Louisville at Clemson (Saturday, October 1st, 8:00pm)

This is easily the toughest game for the Louisville football team for the rest of 2016, sorry Houston. If the Cardinals want to make it to the College Football Playoff and possibly the National Championship, they will have to go through Deshaun Watson.

Clemson has started the season off a little bit slow, winning the their two games by an average of 6 points. They destroyed South Carolina State last Saturday 59-0 and are looking to carry that momentum over to Georgia Tech on Thursday night.

It sounds as though College Gameday will be featuring this game as well. I mean, why would they not want this game? Lamar Jackson. Deshaun Watson. Two of the best quarterbacks in the country. It’s going to be a great game in South Carolina.

This will truly be a test for the Cardinals, in a tough environment, on a Saturday night. Expect Dabo Swinney to have his team ready to play, but remember the Cardinals have come very close to beating the Tigers the last two seasons. Lamar Jackson could be the difference in this game on the road.

Next: Duke

Clemson has a tough road game in Florida State later in the season, but the Cardinals don’t need to push their luck with a three-way ACC tie. Louisville needs to win this game on the road and they are capable to doing so.
