NC State at Louisville (Saturday, October 22nd, time TBA)

The week before NC State plays Louisville, they have to go on the road to play the Clemson Tigers. A week before that game, they have to play Notre Dame. Not a very friendly schedule awaits for the Wolfpack in the month of October.

NC State had a pretty good year last year as they went 7-5 and went to the Belk Bowl against Mississippi State. They got beat pretty bad, but winning seven games and going to a bowl is still a solid accomplishment.

Louisville beat the Wolfpack on the road last year 20-13, all thanks to Lamar Jackson’s legs. Jackson rushed for over 120 yards in that game in North Carolina.

The story will be pretty much the same in this 2016 match-up. Jackson was able to tear apart the so-called “fast’ Seminoles’ defense a few days ago, therefore he shouldn’t have any trouble doing the same against NC State in a little over a month.

Next: Virginia

NC State will have gone through a tough schedule before playing the Cardinals. Expect Petrino to have his guys ready after playing a close game with NC State in 2015.
