Let’s take a look at what three plays are James Quick’s best plays of Louisville football’s season do far in 2016.

We should give a shout-out to one of Louisville football’s best receivers throughout the 2016 season. If you are still harboring bad emotions for James Quick, then you need to check yourself at the door because this guy is having one heck of a year for the Cardinals.

One play against Clemson does not dictate and define what kind of person, player, or Cardinal this guy has been for Louisville. He has been one of the most explosive players on the Louisville roster and is probably Lamar Jackson’ favorite receiver. Yes, I am saying that as Cole Hikutini is technically a tight-end.

Through the first five games of the 2016 season, Quick has helped the Louisville football team to an 4-1 record and landing at the seventh ranked team in the nation.

He is also leading the Cardinals in almost every receiving statistical category:

23 receptions (team leader)

443 receiving yards (team leader)

4 receiving touchdowns (team leader)

19.3 yards per reception (tied for 2nd on team)

If you still think James Quick is a bad receiver, then I cannot help you anymore. He is currently the best receiver on the Louisville roster and he is one of the best in the ACC. Quick should have his best season as a Cardinal and finish his career as someone who met our expectations and more.
