3. Donovan Mitchell and Deng Adel had all-around great games

Louisville basketball can have a great season if both Deng Adel and Donovan Mitchell continue to improve for Rick Pitino. They both played key roles on last year’s sqaud, but the team will depend on them even more throughout the 2016-2017 season.

It’s always hard to gain an accurate perspective when your team plays an exhibtion agaisnt a low-level opponent, howvever both sophmores had impressive outings against Kentucky Wesleyan on Thursday night.

Here are both of thier stat-lines for the game:

Deng Adel: 23 minutes, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 16 points

Donovan Mitchell: 21 minutes, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 block, 2 steals, and 11 points

Fans should be very pleased with that Mitchell and Adel were able to accomplish on Thursday night.
