2. VJ King looked solid in his first game as a Louisville Cardinal

We have been waiting for some time now to see VJ King suit up for the Louisville basketball team. The McDonalds All-American has a ton of expectations on his shoulders, but it seems as though he is going to handle it just fine.

King looked solid in his first game under hall-of-fame head coach Rick Pitino. The Cards need King to come in and be the scorer he is capable of being at all times. If he can do that, then the Cardinals could have a very dangerous offensive attack this season.

Here is King’s stat-line for the evening:

VJ King: 16 minutes, 3 rebounds, and 8 points

It wasn’t a super impressive line for the night, but he did go 100 percent from three and 3-4 from the line.

Next: Number One

Let’s see how he does against a tougher opponent before we make our first true assement of King.
