5. Michigan Wolverines (9-1)

What a heartbreaker for Michigan to lose to the Iowa Hawkeyes on Saturday night. It was a crushing blow to their season, but it doesn’t mean that all hope is lost. They just need to beat Ohio State and they are into the Big Ten Championship game.

If they win that game, then we are looking at the Wolverines heading back into the top four teams in the country.

Yes, Louisville will jump ahead of Michigan this week because of their compared losses. Louisville’s only loss is to #2 Clemson, whereas Iowa is unranked.

Again, all hope is not lost for Michigan, but they are out of it this week in terms of the playoff poll is concerned.
