We take a look at the former Louisville football players that will be in action on NFL Sunday and how their teams will perform.

This was the first weekend in a long time without watching Lamar Jackson and the Louisville football team. However that doesn’t mean that you can’t watch some type of Cardinals football. There are many ex-Cards that are going to be playing in the NFL on Sunday afternoon.

It is week 13 in the National Football League, which means that every game counts. Well, every game before this week has counted, but December is where teams make their final playoff push.

With that being said, let’s take a look at the former Cardinals that will be in action on Sunday:

Sheldon Rankins and the New Orleans Saints have a huge game coming up against the Detroit Lions on Sunday afternoon. The Saints are trying to keep pace in their division, but the Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are playing very well right now.

Rankins picked up his second career sack last weekend against the Rams. It would be nice for New Orleans if he can get some pressure on Lions’ quarterback Matthew Stafford on Sunday.

Detroit loves to throw the football and they have a bad habit of becoming one dimensional.

If they start throwing the ball too much, look for Rankins to register his third NFL sack.

With that being said, I still expect the red-hot Detroit Lions to pick up their eight win in New Orleans.
