3. Is Tony Hicks Ever Going To See Consistent Minutes This Season?

The graduate transfer rule was a huge success for the Louisville basketball team last season with Damion Lee and Trey Lewis. Both players were key to the Cards’ success and would have taken them deep into March if it wasn’t for the self-imposed ban.

However, Tony Hicks is a very different story as it looks like Tony Hicks might be in Rick Pitino’s dog-house forever.

He played pretty well against Purdue, but didn’t see the floor at all against Grand Canyon. This was a game where the Cards were in a tough environment and needed some experience on the court.

I am not going to pretend like I know more than Rick Pitino, but it was odd to not see Hicks get any playing time against the Antelopes.

Hopefully he can start getting more minutes because Louisville needs more than just Snider and Mitchell handling the offense.
