Louisville Football: 247 Sports Ranks Top 5 ACC Programs In 2017 Recruiting

4. Louisville Cardinals

The Louisville football program has done a better job of recruiting over the past couple of years than they have in the past. This 2017 class is going to be one of the strongest that we have ever seen from the Cards and there should be major optimism for this group.

According to 247 Sports, the Cards’ top recruits for 2017 are:

  1. Colin Wilson: 4 Star, Running Back
  2. CJ Avery: 4 Star, Safety
  3. Russ Yeast: 4 Star, Cornerback

All three of these players will be impact performers going forward. There needs to be time for them to develop, but it won’t be before too long that they will be making big plays on Saturdays.

Get excited Cardinals fans, the future is bright for this program.
