Louisville Football: 247 Sports Ranks Top 5 ACC Programs In 2017 Recruiting

2. Florida State Seminoles

Really no surprise here. The conference has been dominated by Florida State in recruiting for a long, long time and they are sitting at the two-spot heading to 2017. It looks like Jimbo Fisher has some big time players coming into the program for the foreseeable future.

Here are FSU’s top recruits for 2017, according to 247 Sports:

  1. Stanford Samuels: 5 Star, Cornerback
  2. Khalan Laborn: 4 Star, Running Back
  3. DJ Matthews: 4 Star, Wide Receiver

The Seminoles were demolished by Louisville this season, but it was ultimately FSU that got the last laugh as they earned a trip to the Orange Bowl to play Michigan over the Cardinals.

In what was a disappointing year, beating the Wolverines would definitely set the tone for FSU to get back to the College Football Playoff in 2017.
