2. Will Controlling The Boards Be Enough For Louisville To Win?

If there is one area where these two teams are on the opposite sides of the spectrum on, it’s rebounding the basketball. Louisville is among the top half of the conference in almost every rebounding category, whereas the Fighting Irish are in the bottom half.

This is the type of basketball game where Jaylen Johnson, Anas Mahmoud, and Ray Spalding are going to be extremely important.

The Cards are going to be playing in a crazy environment on Wednesday night and we all know that means Louisville is going to be taking some low-percentage shots because of it.

With that being said, the Cardinals are second in the ACC in offensive rebounds per game, which should give us all confidence in their ability to control the board against Notre Dame, no matter how bad they end up shooting.
