5. The Cards Responded Extremely Well To Georgia Tech’s Rally

Things got a little hairy around the 8 minute mark of this game and I’ll admit, I was getting a little worried about if the Cardinals were going to close the game out with a win. Ben Lammers, from Georgia Tech, dunked the basketball to make it a 43-40 game with only 8:40 left in the second half.

However, Quentin Snider quickly responded with a three pointer and the Cardinals never looked back.

The most encouraging fact about Louisville’s ability to hold off Georgia Tech was that they looked like a seasoned basketball team. When things got tough, they didn’t panic or blink, they just kept on fighting and came out with a 15 point win on the road.

All Louisville fans should be happy with how Louisville played those last 8 minutes in Atlanta on Saturday.
