When it comes to the “cream of the crop” of graduate transfers in 2018, Joe Cremo of Albany is at the top of the list.

Cremo spent three years playing for the Great Danes, averaging double-figures in all three seasons. He’s a sharp shooting guard, with great size at 6’4, who shot better than 38% from deep in all three seasons, including an incredible 46% during his junior season.

Louisville fans got to know Cremo very well, when he lead his team with 18 points (including three 3 pointers) in a near upset of the Cards at the KFC Yum! Center. Late in the game when Louisville was struggling, Cremo was  continuously able to take advantage of switches on the pick-and-roll, knocking down big shot after big-shot.

If you are looking for a comparable player who has played for Chris Mack in the past, look no further than former Xavier wing JP Macura. Both players are about 6’4, and are known for their ability to knock down the three. Macura was able to knock down 38% of his threes, averaging about 4 per game during his senior season.

Louisville will face stiff competition in the race to land Joe Cremo. Other schools who have reached out to the former Albany guard include Arizona, Wichita State, Texas Tech and West Virginia.
