In a Monday press conference new Louisville basketball Head Coach Chris Mack officially introduced his three new assistant coaches to the media and fan base.

We’ve known for a few weeks now that new Louisville basketball Head Coach Chris Mack was going to be bringing former Xavier assistant’s Mike Pegues and Luke Murray along to join his new coaching staff. But no one was quite sure who would be the third assistant.

After a few days of speculation, former Wake Forest Head Coach and current ESPN College Basketball analyst Dino Gaudio was announced as the third and final assistant.

On Monday, the staff was finally introduced to the local media in an afternoon press conference, and there was quite a bit to take away.  Each coach was given about 10-15 minutes or so with the media, in a “get to know you” session that included a statement from the coach and a handful of questions.

Chris Mack kicked it off with several notable statements regarding recruitment, player development, Deng Adel & Ray Spalding, and plenty more.

Let’s recap what stood out.
