Louisville Football: Projections for Cardinals in the 2018 NFL Draft
By Jacob Lane
Malik Williams – RB
Do a quick search of “NFL prospects” named Malik Williams on google and unfortunately you won’t find much. Williams did not receive a combine invitation or an invite to any of the major pre-draft allstar games, but that’s not going to stop him from doing everything he can to prove he deserves to hear his named called in next weekends draft. Williams has been here before. After being under recruited out of high school, and then again out of JUCO, and sitting behind other running backs during his junior season, Williams made a name for himself as the team’s go-to-back during his last year on campus. With good power, and even better speed, Williams has recently had several team visits and could be a late round steal for a team. There’s not much to report on in-terms of projections for Williams, but I would be willing to bet he’s going to get some looks.
