#14 – Damion Lee (2016)

Career Stats: 15.9 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 2.0 apg, 1.5 spg

Though he played at Louisville for just one year, Damion Lee holds a special place in nearly ever single Cardinal fans heart. Lee transferred to Louisville in 2015-2016 after three brilliant seasons at mid-major Drexel, looking for an opportunity to make the NCAA Tournament for the first time in his career. Lee went on to be one of the best scorers the Cards had-had in recent years at the two guard spot. However, after Lee and fellow grad-transfer Trey Lewis got the Cards into prime real estate to make a deep run, the hopes of making the NCAA tournament were ripped out of their hands as the Cards announced a post-season ban after allegations of sex/strip parties taking place in the UofL dorms by a ratchet women named Katina Powell.

The Cards went on an impressive run to finish the season that ended with Lee and Lewis getting one of the biggest ovations in senior day history, along with custom made rings from then Head Coach Rick Pitino. Lee’s impact on the program is still being felt today.
