#13 – Kyle Kuric (2009-2012)

Career Stats: 8.3 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 0.9 apg

Who could ever forget the Freedom Hall closeout game and the once in a lifetime performance from Kyle Kuric against #1 ranked Syracuse, when the reserve forward scored 22 points all in the second half. Or what about the dunk against Notre Dame, where Kuric took the soul of Scott Martin? In four years at Louisville Kuric become notoriously known for “Kyle’s Corner,” a spot on the court where he was nearly automatic, all the time. While that’s what we’ll always remember Kuric for, many will forget his integral role in getting the Cards back to the final four in 2012 for the first time since 2005. No one expected Louisville to make it that far in ’12, only to see their season end to eventual National Champions and Arch Rival Kentucky, led by Anthony Davis. Without that experience who knows if the Cards would have been ready for their eventual National Championship run.
