Syracuse is dangerous on offense.

Louisville has handled the Orange the last couple of seasons, but expect them to keep up this year in the Carrier Dome.

In the infamous Lamar leap game in 2016, Louisville scored 21 points in 3 minutes of game-time, so it makes it easy to forget that the Orange were extremely frustrating to defend with Dino Babers’s high-paced offense. Last year, their spread offense was mitigated by a rain storm and an awkward delay that ended in a 56-10 trouncing.

This year, however, Syracuse gets to play in the dome again where they are no slouch. Eric Dungey returns under center, and has an offense that fits his style of play perfectly.

If they can muster up some sort of defense this season, the Orange will hang tough with some good teams. However, I don’t think that the Cards surrender a loss here. I like UofL is a closer-than-expected win.
