Kentucky is a real wild card on this schedule. Many around the program say that this is the most talented team that Mark Stoops has fielded.

Still, the Cats have more questions to answer than Louisville does, which makes this game difficult to predict.

So let’s break this down based on what we do know. Kentucky returns nobody of significant importance, save talented but injury prone tight end CJ Conrad, and work horse running back Benny Snell. Louisville returns a loaded offensive line and receiving core, and well as a world of potential. Louisville also has Bobby Petrino, and Kentucky has Mark Stoops.

Again, that may seem like it is in jest, but based on the variables we do know, including Louisville’s 44-17 trouncing last year in Lexington, the Cards should run away with this one.

No punts, Cards win.

Presley’s Prediction: Louisville 52, Kentucky 24

Louisville’s Record: 9-3 (6-2)

Jacob’s Prediction: Louisville 56, Kentucky 35

Louisville’s Record: 10-2 (7-1)

Whether it’s 9-3 or 10-2, once again Bobby Petrino proves that he is a wizard at coaching football. This is a team that NOBODY outside of the city of Louisville has faith in. For them to defy all odds after losing Heisman Trophy winner Lamar Jackson, star CB Jaire Alexander, a plethora of defensive studs, and implementing their third defensive system in three years, would hush the nation and show them that they are further along in their journey of becoming a top ACC school than anyone thought.
