No. 5: The Other Guys Are Prettttty, Prettttty Good

Not exactly Louisville related but that Nicholls State team was no early season cupcake of yesteryear. While they had trouble all day in the paint, they shot a very respectable 38.7% from the 3 point line. More impressively perhaps, last year’s Southern Conference Champion, in a hostel environment, scored 47 points, to Louisville’s 50, in the second half of road game against a power conference team.

By all accounts, with their 28-year-old Head Coach, they look to be contenders for the Southern Conference title again this year. Thanks for the test. Good luck and god speed.

Summary: Nicholls State appears across the screen as a significant RPI win against a tournament team for the Cards come March.
