No. 3: A Celebrity Scores Louisville Basketball National Airtime

With the addition of assistant coach Luke Murray to the staff, game appearances by Wes Anderson’s right hand man and Luke’s father (insert Star Wars joke here), Bill Murray, our odds for celebrity sightings at the Yum! have taken an exponential hike.

Jennifer Lawrence (or “Jenny from the block” as I call her in this reoccurring dream of mine) is still a force to be reckoned with in Hollywood and her organic, hometown love for the men’s basketball team is well documented. She’s probably a little busy at the moment being an A-List celebrity and whatnot but she usually finds time to sneak in a game, a beer and some popcorn at 2nd and Main.

Terry Rozier, and even more so Donovan Mitchell, have reached full-blown NBA “household name” status and seeing them meander the court’s apron and mingle with fans and staff won’t be too uncommon of a site this year, I’m sure. On top of the former Cardinal stars, Assistant Coach Dino Gaudio has some pretty well-known disciples in the league himself.(Side Note:Still Waiting on Gorgui to have to return for his statue unveiling…I’m looking and you Vince Tyra. Make it happen.)

Summary: At least 3 of the 4 mentioned celebrity faces make their way to a home or (fingers crossed) tournament game at some point this season.

Prediction Confidence Level: Whatever feeling of certainty base-jumpers have to ultimately decide they won’t become vulture food before jumping.
