B-. Cunningham is still a nice calming presence on the floor when he needs to be, but he doesn’t do much else. This guy has got to find ways to get more involved offensively, and improve a lot on defense.. PG. Louisville Cardinals. CHRISTEN CUNNINGHAM

PG. Louisville Cardinals. DARIUS PERRY. A+. With 17 points and 4 assists on the night, Perry had one of his best games as a Cardinal in my opinion. He’s getting more comfortable at the point position and his on ball defense continues to harass opposing guards.

V.J. KING. B. Finally, VJ showed us some of what we’ve been begging for: aggression. The dude can ball, we all know that. It’s refreshing to see him finishing through contact and not forcing shots. He looked a bit confused on defense, but it’s a learning process. Nice night for VJ.. SF. Louisville Cardinals

JORDAN NWORA. A. Back to back 20 point games is certainly impressive for a guy who is heralded as the Cards best player this year. But Nwora has to put together a better defensive effort as the season goes on – we need him on the floor too much for him to be a liability on that end.. PF. Louisville Cardinals

A. Once again, the big fella was getting it done down low for Louisville. The only thing I want to see more of is protecting the rim and rebounding . Enoch still is proving to be the first scoring option for this years squad.. C. Louisville Cardinals. STEVEN ENOCH

B+. Malik was again the guy Louisville needed to keep the energy going. Whether it was a big block, rebound, or just a great defensive stand – Malik puts it all out there for the team. I would like to see him score more consistently at the basket, but that will come in time.. PF. Louisville Cardinals. MALIK WILLIAMS

RYAN MCMAHON. A. McMahon scored all 8 of his points at the free throw line, where he was perfect on the night. This is indicative of his being determined to get into the lane and create for others or draw contact. The kid also plays solid on ball defense. If he keeps this up in a game where we need his shooting.. look out.. PG. Louisville Cardinals

B. Sutton didn’t fill up the stat sheet tonight, but when the Cards needed a defensive stop, he was there. Need a rebound? There’s your guy. He continues to play unselfishly on both ends of the floor with maximum effort. But, I think he needs to assert himself a bit more on the offensive end.. SF. Louisville Cardinals. DWAYNE SUTTON

B. Khwan Fore didn’t even put a number on the stat sheet. But his on ball defense was spectacular. He is explosive enough to score but is mature and knows his role well. Louisville can use him down the road as a lockdown defender in specific game situations. Great effort.. SG. Louisville Cardinals. KHWAN FORE

N/A. DNP. PF. Louisville Cardinals. AKOY AGAU

N/A. DNP. PG. Louisville Cardinals. JO GRIFFIN

SG. Louisville Cardinals. WYATT BATTAILE. N/A. DNP

N/A. DNP. SG. Louisville Cardinals. JACOB REDDING

What a great step forward for the Cards, and at just the right time. Next, the Cards take on a 5th ranked Tennessee squad in a game that presents them an opportunity to turn quite a few heads nationally.
