5:Don’t Settle

Patience will be a virtue for the Cards on Saturday. The Pirates do play a fairly up tempo game but they like to push the guards off the 3 point line but still allow reaction space. This style of play could be the “sirens in the river” for some of our more trigger happy players like Jordan Nwora and Ryan McMahon.

A winning game plan will come, not from a successful day at the 3 point line, but from taking the ball at them in the paint and using our deeper bench and aforementioned superior free throw acumen.
