Final Thoughts

-While Louisville is very familiar with Kevin Willard the man, Coach Mack is more familiar with him as a coaching adversary. Mack is 6-7 versus the Pirates all time and 1-4 in Newark.

-Another notable face on the bench will be an original final four cinderella, Assistant Coach Tony Skinn. Most of you will remember Skinn from the 2006 George Mason team that busted the good majority of your all’s brackets and not his professional playing time in Europe or his work on the bench at Louisiana Tech.

-Tim Brando and former Seton Hall Head Coach Bill Rafferty will be calling the game so expect some sentimental homer-ism in the commentary. Fair warning.

-I mentioned it above but Seton Hall is having trouble selling tickets. The last reports said they had around 3,000 unsold tickets….the Prudential Center capacity is only about 10,500, good time to fill it up Cards fans. If only Newark weren’t so….you know…Newark-y.

-We got put on some sweet pregame show shirts…
