We are a great free throw shooting team

Finally! For the first time in a while, Card Nation doesn’t cringe while watching our guys step to the line. Even our big guys, especially Steven Enoch and Akoy Agau, are knocking down their FT’s at an impressive rate. Enoch is hitting 87% which is actually insane for a center – Agau is making 73%, respectively.

This team also draws a lot of fouls. Guys like Darius Perry and Dwayne Sutton aren’t afraid to get in there and take some contact. Christen Cunningham has also stepped up the last 3 games in crunch time, utilizing his ability to drive and get fouled, then convert his opportunities at the line.

The Cards are shooting 77% from the foul line as a team so far this season. Hopefully this is a trend that continues for the entire year.
