Shooting attempts need  to be planned

Louisville will need to try and limit its contested shots, and half-hearted toss ups and find the open man.

Indiana likes to double up on anyone driving the lane and often creates a (semi) open man on the wing or cutting from the other side of the lane. Louisville is going to have to capitalize on this stop-gap defense and find a shooter with their feet set or sprinting slashers cutting to the rim.

Penetration for guards in isolation is near impossible in the half court against IU as it sacrifices off ball defense to protect the lane. Make them pay for it.
