Don’t get rattled by the atmosphere

Winning an early season road game against a quality opponent is never a small task but coming into Assembly Hall’s notoriously raucous environment an pulling out a win is an entirely different feat.

Beyond the environment, Louisville is a fairly significant under dog, both in statistical efficiency analysis in Vegas all the same. The Cards’ younger players will have to channel the focus of their grad transfer teammates to overcome what most are predicting as a 5-7 point favorite, Hoosier team.

There will, without a doubt, be a perfect emotional storm brewing for IU Freshman Guard, Romeo Langford. In this atmosphere, IU’s biggest game of the year and against his hometown team they’ll be no lack of energy and effort from the young scorer. Look for Kwan Fore to get significant minutes as the Cards try and quell Indiana’s energy and lock down their most dynamic scorer.

Final Prediction: Louisville gets hot from the line, puts IU’s guards in foul trouble.
