Darius Perry must find his groove early

Ryan McMahon is, no doubt, chomping at the bit for Darius Perry’s starting job. Perry’s 0-7 performance at Indiana reportedly put him a mental funk Coach Mack addressed in the pre-game press conference Tuesday. Mack wasn’t being coy as he described wanting to see Darius mentally deal with adversity and failure better.

Perry will be get a great opportunity early on the defensive end to pressure the ball handler. Using this momentum, Darius should have a significant bounce back game. His athleticism and motor will propel him past inferiorly skilled defenders.
