We take a look at the week that was in, and around, Louisville Cardinals Sports.

Since injuring his neck 7 weeks ago, the New York Jets are 1-5 without Bilal Powell.

Jets Fans are realizing they didn’t “know what they got until it’s gone.”

Terry Rozier has made it known he won’t be Kyrie Irving’s handcuff next year.

ESPN’s Vegas Insider thinks very highly of Louisville’s 2018 football season.

Well, economically speaking…

4 current “Water Bird” Cardinals and 3 alumni are in China to compete in the FINA Short Course World Championships that run from December 11th-16th.

Louisville’s new Defensive Coordinator, Bryan Brown, might be coming from an FCS school but he’s got some connections.

Playing for Ole Miss from 2002-2006, he played on teams with a couple of guys you may know: Eli Manning, Patrick Willis, Mike Wallace, Michael Oher, Greg Hardy and Dexter McCluster…just to name a few.

4 of the city’s own have officially committed to playing for Kentucky…

Yikes.

Mike Rutherford of Card Chronicle investigates.

Former Cardinal, Preston Brown, is spending his time on the Bengals Injured Reserve list yoga-ing for a good cause.

Dell Curry seemed to confuse people when he said on an NBA broadcast this week that he was at the game to see former Cardinal, Damien Lee, and not his son Steph.

Damien Lee is married to Steph Curry’s sister Sydel, and is in turn Del Curry’s Son-In-Law.

Coach David Levitch has his North Oldham team off to a 4-1 start, their best in 7 years when the Baby Faced Assassin was, himself, a Junior there.

Louisville Basketball’s managers also took a tough L to Indiana’s staff and Chris Mack was not standing for it.

Kentucky State Police aren’t even trying to hide it, they’re burger people.
