Make the Cats earn everything

The second step would be to make Kentucky work each possession.

In other words, play smart. Limit the amount of turnovers which has been a reoccurring issue in the past few games in which the Cards have gotten off to a slow start or even fallen behind by giving up easy baskets.

Louisville must play smart, they cannot gamble like they have in the past especially in the passing lanes trying to go for a steal. Kentucky will make you pay for your mistakes and that could be said for almost any team in the top 25. If the ‘Cats score while being hounded on defense, then so be it. Just don’t make their job any easier than it has to be.
