CHRISTEN CUNNINGHAM. A. CC had a great game. He didn’t score as much as he has recently, but with the way he was passing the ball he didn’t need to. He finished with 8 assists to only 1 turnover and added 9 point including 4-4 from the charity stripe.. PG. Louisville Cardinals

B. I like seeing Khwan shoot the ball more and he was 2-3 from the three-point line tonight. However, he seemed to struggle a few times on defense and ended up in bad position or getting blown by. I liked to see him with his usual defensive effort and hitting a couple shots.. SG. Louisville Cardinals. KHWAN FORE

A+. Third straight double double. Finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds. He provided the spark that started the run when Louisville was down in the first half. Consistent, high level effort.. SF. Louisville Cardinals. DWAYNE SUTTON

A+. My goodness. Just when you thought you’ve seen Jordan Nwora score, he drops 32 points on only 16 FG attempts. He was amazing today and not just with his scoring. He added 10 rebounds and 4 assists. He also provided some nice defensive plays with a clean steal and chase down block. Next stop…40. PF. Louisville Cardinals. JORDAN NWORA

STEVEN ENOCH. B-. After a couple of really nice games in a row, Enoch didn’t have his best today. He went 2-4 from them field and added 2 FTs to give the Cards 6 points. I was disappointed in his rebounding effort by only getting 3 boards in 18 minutes of play time.. C. Louisville Cardinals

SF. Louisville Cardinals. V.J. KING. C. I hate that VJ has become so irrelevant. He didn’t really do anything bad, but he gave us nothing good either. He missed both shots he took and finished with 2 rebounds. He does seem to be in the lineup a lot when we make a run. I’m not sure if he has anything to do with it but it is an observation I had.

B. Malik had a up and down game today. He made a couple nice baskets close and fought on the boards for 8 rebounds. However, he took some bad shots at some bad time especially the guarded three pointer with 2 minutes to go while BC was coming back. He also made a couple bonehead defensive plays during that span too. Hit and miss game, but gave us the latest cornrow addition.. PF. Louisville Cardinals. MALIK WILLIAMS

Louisville Cardinals. RYAN MCMAHON. Incomplete. I give Ryan an I for incomplete. He only took 1 shot and was knocked out of the game with an injury. Hopefully it is nothing serious.. PG

C-. Perry continues to be one of the most frustrating players on the team. He did hit a couple shots, including a three, and he technically didn’t have a turnover. He still made some bonehead decisions and took ill advised shots.. PG. Louisville Cardinals. DARIUS PERRY

PF. Louisville Cardinals. AKOY AGAU. C. He got in. He missed a shot. He got a foul. He filled in a couple minutes and that is all he was asked to do.

Louisville has to find a way to close out a game when they are up by more than 20 in the second half at home. The North Carolina game showed that they can compete with anybody but the Pitt and now BC games start to make it look like anybody can compete with them.

Louisville is in the midst of the only “easy” part of their conference schedule. They have to take advantage of these games and rack up some wins. Tonight was frustrating at time but got the job done. Next up is Georgia Tech on the road Saturday at 4pm.
