Defensive Line

Ja’Darien Boykin (4 Star)- Gray, GA- 6’2″ / 240 lbs

Boykin may be one of the most underrated players in this entire class. The edge rusher from Georgia would be a perfect fit to replace transfer Jon Greenard. He can play up front, and as a hybrid linebacker.

It’s hard to place a finger on why Boykin has been so overlooked, but Satterfield and company would gladly take him. The Cards will have him in for an official visit on January 25th, one week after he goes to Miami.

Chance of commitment: 40%

Quashon Fuller (4 Star)- Lehigh Acres, FL- 6’4″ / 255 lbs

Fuller, who visited Louisville on January 11th, would be one of Louisville’s biggest defensive recruits ever. Fuller committed to Florida State before Jimbo Fisher even left the program, and has been committed ever since. However, Alabama, Auburn, and Louisville all have or will receive official visits from Fuller.

Fuller will be tough to pull away from the south, but he did cancel his official to Florida to come to The Ville.

If Fuller can be convinced that Louisville isn’t too far away from home, and he stands the best chance of seeing early playing time with the Cards, this would be a huge get. Still, that’s a big “if.”
