Secondary

Jamal Hill (3 Star S)- Morrow, GA- 6’1″ / 190 lbs

Hill is a safety who is getting a lot of love late from some big-name schools. He is heavily recruited by Oregon, who just lost two of their best recruiters to… Louisville.

The Cards staff payed Hill an in-home visit on January 16th, and are likely right in the mix with the Ducks, Tennessee, and Colorado.

Chance of commitment: 25%

PJ Jules (NR/ 3 star S)- Orlando, Fl- 6’1″/ 185 lbs

Jules is a late bloomer and absolute diamond in the rough. It doesn’t appear that Jules has an offer from Louisville, but if the staff were to extend one, you’d have to like their chances.

Chance of commitment: 80%

Kenney Solomon (2 Star CB)- Myrtle Beach, SC- 6’0″ / 170 lbs

Solomon appears to be UCF’s to lose at this point. He visits Louisville January 18th, so things are always subject to change.

Chance he commits: 5%

Keeyon Stewart (3 Star CB)- Houston, TX- 6’0″ / 170 lbs

Stewart is a relative unknown for the Cards. He visited Utah and Texas Tech earlier in January and was impressed with both spots. However, one of his last officials will be to Louisville. You’d think Texas Tech would have the best shot for the kid from Houston, but Louisville isn’t out of the race by any means.

Chance of commitment: 15%

Marvae Myers-Glover (NR CB)- Orlando, FL- 6’0″ / 175 lbs

At this point, Louisville and Liberty are the only two official visits set for Myers-Glover. He is an unranked athlete that would likely be a corner for the Cards. Bryan Brown and company have searched longer and harder to find unheralded athletes in the past, so we should trust them on this one.

Chance of commitment: 85%

Don Chapman (3 Star S)- San Diego, CA- 6’2″ / 185 lbs

Chapman has a standing offer from Louisville, was once committed to Colorado (where DBs coach ShaDon Brown came from), and has heard a lot from Oregon (where Cort Dennison came from).

It’s not a stretch to think the Cards could be in the mix for this elite safety.

Chance of commitment: 3%

Cortez Andrews (4 Star S)- Tallahassee, FL-6’1″ / 205 lbs

Andrews is an elite safety. He is being courted by the likes of Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss, and Auburn. However, Andrews visits Louisville February 1st, and it doesn’t hurt that it will be one of his last visits.

Louisville linebackers coach Dale Jones paid a visit to the Andrews home on January 15th, even though Cortez wasn’t in town. Bold play, Dale.

Chance of commitment: 15%

Dequanteous Watts (3 Star CB)- Atlanta, GA- 6’2″ / 175 lbs

Watts is another elite prospect that the staff is making a top priority. Watts is a guy who would probably be a high 4-star and could be more versatile in the secondary if he had a little more weight on him. Still, Oregon and South Carolina get official visits first before Watts comes to Louisville the first weekend of February.

Look for the Cards to be all-in on Watts and Andrews until national signing day.
