Zach Loveday – C

Rating: 4-star, #52 Nationally, #2 ranked Center 

Height/Weight: 7’0, 200

Hometown: Gallipolis, OH

The Ohio native recently transferred from Gallia Academy to high school powerhouse Huntington Prep in West Virginia.  He’s teammates with current UofL signee Quin Slazinski and fellow UofL prospect Jaemyn Brakefield.

The 7-foot center has visited the UofL campus numerous times and was on hand to for the UofL and UK matchup. Also, he was a member of the Louisville Magic AAU team.  Loveday has the potential to get minutes in 2020 with the graduation of Steven Enoch and possibility of Igiehon being 1 and done.

He’s a fluid big man who is able to stretch the floor and possess some interior finesse. Under the guidance of Mike Pegues, Loveday could realize his potential like current Cards Enoch and Malik Williams.

Loveday currently holds offers from Florida, Xavier, Ohio State, Indiana and Purdue amongst others.
