CHRISTEN CUNNINGHAM. A.
Cunningham has cooled off of late offensively, but he is still as steady and level-headed as ever. 7 points, 6 more assists, and 4 rebounds in 38 minutes. He continues to lead by example for the Cards.
. PG. Louisville Cardinals

KHWAN FORE. B.
Fore settled back into his usual role as a lock down defender, but didn’t really look to be assertive on offense. This was a night where the other two guards played well, and Fore’s consistent play was a bit overshadowed.
. SG. Louisville Cardinals

17 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, 6-8 from the floor, 3-4 from downtown. Just another game for Dwayne Sutton, who is leading the Cards as one of the toughest and hardest working players to ever be a part of the program. A+ isn’t a high enough grade.
. SF. Louisville Cardinals. DWAYNE SUTTON. A+

Nwora is a bit aggressive on the offensive end, but he has earned that right as one of the ACC’s leading scorers. An inefficient second half yielded 15 total points on 6-17 shooting, but Nwora continues to get it done elsewhere. He had 8 points, an assist, and a steal, and made the hustle plays that weren’t there in Louisville’s loss to UNC.
. PF. Louisville Cardinals. JORDAN NWORA. B+

Louisville Cardinals. MALIK WILLIAMS. B-.
Williams struggled from the floor, and it felt like it effected his game overall. The Cards had a total mismatch that they could have exploited down low if they were able to render Kerry Blackshear, Tech’s only player over 6’5,” ineffective. However, Blackshear dominated and Williams regressed a bit from the last few games.
. C

STEVEN ENOCH. B.
Like Williams, Enoch was unable to really get things going. He hit two long threes, which were huge momentum shifters for the Cards, but Virginia Tech took him out of the game down low by doubling up on him and forcing four turnovers. Enoch’s shooting, should it continue at this clip, is a really big deal for the Cards going forward. However, he could be a true force if Louisville can find ways to make him more effective in the paint.
. C. Louisville Cardinals

C+.
King, similarly to Fore, continues to find ways to contribute outside of scoring. In 7 minutes, he got a few good lucks from mid-range, and crashed the boards hard. King is still a work in progress, but he is coming around slowly but surely.
. SF. Louisville Cardinals. V.J. KING

A.
Money McMahon was feeling it. You get the sense that coming off of an injury that kept him on the bench, he would be hunting his shot, and boy did he blow a competitive game wide open in the second half. McMahon only attempted threes and free throws en route to a 4-5 game and 17 points. When he is hot, Louisville rarely loses because it creates instant offense. Virginia Tech’s defense had to play out on him after he scored 12 straight points, and that freed up the rest of the offense.
. PG. Louisville Cardinals. RYAN MCMAHON

B.
DP is getting back into a rhythm, and it seems like he is starting to do so on the defensive end of the floor. Another game with no turnovers (huge positive), and continuing to become more intentional in offensive sets. Love to see Perry getting his confidence back.
. PG. Louisville Cardinals. DARIUS PERRY
