Jalen Mitchell – RB

3 star

5’11, 202

Rockledge, FL

I really didn’t expect Louisville to take another running back in this class with Aidan Robbins already signing in 2019 and with guys like Dae Williams, Colin Wilson, Hassan Hall, and Tobias Little all returning this season, but there are currently two backs on the board who I think the staff would without a question take commitments from.

Jalen Mitchell out of Rockledge, Florida is another speedy back who has home run potential every time he touches the ball but is more of a between the tackles back compared to Griffin.

The 3-star running back was on campus for an official visit two weeks ago and the staff seems to be serious about taking him should Griffin choose to commit elsewhere. He is one of the more intriguing players to watch on Wednesday.

Other schools being considered: Central Florida, Toledo, Colorado State

Prediction: Central Florida
