TJ Holl – LB

Senior – Graduate Transfer

6’1, 230

Colgate University

The graduate transfer linebacker out of FCS Colgate, is another player that we’ve talked a lot about over the last few weeks as well as he announced his decision to visit the Cards this past weekend almost a month ago.

Holl had a dominant senior season and some how is still flying under the radar nationally after winning the Patriot League defensive player of the year award, finishing with 121 tackles, 17 TFL, 3.5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and 1 interception.

The dude is a tackling machine and would have the ability to slide in perfectly with the current core group of linebackers at Louisville, including likely starters Dorian Etheridge and Robert Hicks. He is by no mean a great athlete, but he definitely will have the ability to play at a high level even jumping from FCS to the ACC.

Holl told Rivals.com Chris Person that Louisville is “definitely my favorite” and just like Boykin, it’d be a huge upset if he ended up anywhere else.

Other schools being considered: Pittsburgh

Prediction: Louisville
