Damian Copeland – WR

While DeVante Parker went on to be drafted in the first round of the 2015 draft, his partner in crime at Louisville, Damian Copeland, never was able to get his career going after going undrafted and signing a free agent deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

After going undrafted in 2014 Copeland went to training camp with Jags and at one time looked like he could make the active roster. Unfortunately, injuries played a huge role in Copeland being waived in 2015 after spending the 2014-15 season on injured reserve. Copeland would sign with the Detroit Lions in 2016 but never found his way onto an active roster.

Copeland was a dynamic play making receiver during his three years at Louisville, finishing his career with 1,521 yards and 7 touchdowns – including a huge TD in the Cards Sugar Bowl win against Florida.

Copeland, like Holliman, doesn’t seem to be employed by anyone at the time but that doesn’t mean that a return to football couldn’t be possible in the AAF.
