Louisville covers the spread

Louisville opened as a 5 point (will surely increase) underdog and will certainly not be a betting favorite coming off their weak performance at Syracuse. Louisville will keep this one close on both ends of the floor and will compete as they’ve done with the big dogs, as they have done all year long, right down to the wire.

I expect an absolute fist fight in this one. If the Cards have had even remotely the past few days at a practice as one would assume after their loss to Syracuse, then this will be a different team on Saturday. The Cards have learned over and over this season that anything less than 100% from every guy on the floor will ultimately not be enough. Louisville needs every guy to play with the intensity of usual Dwayne Sutton against Virginia, and I’d be shocked if that’s not what unfolds.

Louisville will be ready to go with both effort and gameplan. The Cards will keep it tight on both ends, do enough on the backboards, and feed off what better be a rowdy Big Yum!

Next. This statistic says not to count out Louisville as a title contender. dark

Throw out the tape and bad taste from Wednesday night and fully prepare yourself for a forty (and maybe plus) minute war Saturday at high noon. Louisville will be ready, will cover the spread, and just might jumpstart their push to a run in March.

Get there early, be loud, and Go Cards!
