Murray State

Undoubtedly, you’ve heard all of the Ja Morant hype coming out of Murray, and we are here to say that it is 100% warranted.

What most don’t realize though is that Murray State is legit. They are racing through the OVC conference, and will compete with Belmont for the auto-bid spot from their conference. Regardless of if they win the conference championship or not, the Racers have a great shot of making the big dance and making some noise. They are a high-scoring, high octane offense, hungry to make a sweet 16 run.

If Louisville draws a 5 or 6 seed, Murray could very well be paired up with the Cards as an 11 or 12, and don’t think that this squad wouldn’t be that much more motivated to beat an in-state opponent. This is a match-up that Louisville fans should want no part of. Murray State has a legit shot at a sweet 16 bid.
