Purdue

Long, athletic, experienced guard play. Those are all bugaboos for this Louisville squad. Have you heard? The Cards’s undersized guards would have fits with the Boilermakers’s experienced guard play, and Purdue has two bigs of their own down low that would be salivating at a match-up against two centers who would prefer to float to the perimeter.

Purdue also loves to dictate the pace of the game. Louisville loves to speed things up and get quick, easy baskets. Purdue would likely make the Cards settle for set pieces on offense, and guard them for the extent of the shotclock on defense.

The Boilermakers are a likely 3 seed right now, and they would love to draw Louisville in a 3-6 round of 32 match up.
