Pitt stinks, there’s no way around that. But there is a silver lining.

Kevin M̶a̶l̶o̶n̶e̶  Stallings isn’t their coach, they have two wins more than last year in ACC play, and Kevin Stallings isn’t their coach.

Even knowing that they had lost four games in a row, I’d be willing to bet the Irish watched Boston College knock off Louisville last Wednesday night and thought they had a chance to do the same on Sunday.

THANKFULLY that didn’t happen and instead they caught a pissed off Louisville team and were handed a big fat L. They’ll get a chance to feel a little satisfaction if they can beat Clemson and shatter their chances to make the NCAA Tournament.

Might be a bit easier said than done, however.

It’s hard to even say anything bad about Miami because of the fact that they have what feels like just three healthy players. The Hurricanes are fighting hard to finish out the season the best they can, but unfortunately they just don’t have a whole lot left in the tank.

Here’s what I know about Miami moving forward. They won’t be down long.

The good news for Wake Forest fans is they got a win against Miami to improve to 4-11 in the ACC play.

The bad news, they followed that up by getting beat down by 25 points against Syracuse.

More bad news for Demon Deacons fans – they finish the season with No. 4 Duke and No. 14 Florida State this week.

But more good news? Only two more games until the end of the Danny Manning era in Winston-Salem.

The 14,000+ fans in attendance (lol, yeah right) on Wednesday night got to watch Boston College pick up arguably their biggest win of the season and helped to move them to .500 on the year. The Golden Eagles now get a chance to slay Goliath tomorrow night when they get a matchup with No. 3 ranked UNC at home before closing their season and most likely the Ky Bowman era on Saturday against NC State. Can they play spoiler this week?

Welp, Georgia Tech beat Boston College just a few days after the Eagles beat our beloved Cards, which absolutely sucks. The Yellow Jackets have just one game remaining on the schedule against NC State before their season comes to an end and a decision on whether Josh Pastner will return as head coach will be made.

After picking up two wins last week against Wake Forest and Boston College, games that at least helped to solidify NC State’s tournament resume, the Wolfpack dropped a big game against FSU. Depending on where you get your bracketology updates, that game may have knocked NC State out of the tournament completely, at least according to CBS.

The Wolfpack luckily have to games this week against ACC bottom feeders, Boston College and Georgia Tech, which if both games are won would put them at 22-9 and 10-8, a record that would be impossible to keep them out of the NCAA Tournament. But if they drop either one of those games, they would likely have some work to do in the ACC tournament.
