The Seminoles bounced back from a beat down to North Carolina to grab wins over a hard-fighting Notre Dame team and a quality NC State squad, giving them their 10th win out of the last 11 tries, a feat that is beyond impressive when it comes to ACC play.

Florida State isn’t a team that strikes you as extremely polished, but they have as much length and athleticism as anyone. After a run to the elite eight last season, with the right draw, they could be in the thick of things once again, starting with the ACC tournament. They currently sit in the fifth spot in the conference standings behind Virginia Tech, with a chance to earn the coveted double bye with two wins this week.

In order to do that they’ll have to start with the 4th seeded Virginia Tech Hokies, a team on a roll themselves, before facing Wake Forest on Saturday.
