Jayce Johnson

7’0,” 235 lbs

Current school: Utah

2018-19: 7.1 points, 7.7 rebounds

Jayce Johnson is a solid option for the Cards should Stephen Enoch decide to play elsewhere next season. With Malik Williams and Aidan Igiehon pegged to take most of the minutes down low, even without Enoch, Louisville would be able to make it work. However, the Cards staff is likely to search for more depth if they have the option.

Johnson isn’t a go-to guy by any means, but the 7-footer is a serviceable big who could give the Cards a much-needed lift in case of injuries or poor play. Plus, a player like Johnson would give Louisville the added bonus of depth and a quality big man to be a formidable body to practice against.

The return of Enoch is probable, and the situation Cards fans should hope for. With that said, Jayce Johnson would be a solid option as his replacement, should be leave.
