Austin Collins

Defensive end, three-star

Louisville, KY

6’4″ 260 pounds

A teammate of John Young at Christian Academy, three-star Austin Collins received his first power five offer over the weekend. That offer just happened to be from Scott Satterfield and the Louisville football program.

The 6’4″ 260 pound defensive end/offensive lineman previously held offers from Bowling Green, Eastern Michigan, WKU, and several other mid-major programs before the Cards officially pulled the trigger.

Collins had a nice junior season for the State Champion Centurions, registering 73 total tackles, eight tackles for loss, three sacks, and three fumble recoveries. Still growing into his size and his game, Collins will likely emerge as one of the most improved players in the state as he heads into his senior season.

It’s likely Collins is a lock to be a Cardinal, especially if John Young pulls the trigger on his commitment, giving the Cards two of the most talented players in the state.
