Will the starting QB come from the three guys already on the roster, or will another player be added this summer?

Satterfield has mentioned that he likes to have about 5 scholarships quarterbacks on his roster. However, the comments from Satterfield here are pretty telling. It seems that Satt is content with what he has on the roster right now for QB, and he just might have his starter.

Satterfield told Ennis on his radio show:

"“We have three guys really battling. Puma Pass had a really good spring. Puma was down and out the end of last season. Confidence was low. He’s really gained in confidence and understanding what we’re doing offensively. I have been really pleased with him. Malik Cunningham has been one of the best athletes on our team. He’s incredible what he can do.”"

But, as we’ve learned, never say never in sports. So if any solid QB options come up and seem to be a good fit, don’t be surprised if Louisville gets another quarterback. Whether they’re a grad transfer or a JUCO transfer. As of right now though, it looks like Jawon Pass could be the guy and Cunningham will be on the field with him somewhere else.
