Isaiah Hayes – S

Former team: Arizona

Career stats: 58 tackles, 2.5 TFL, 1 sack, 1 FF

Out of all the players on this list, former Arizona safety Isaiah Hayes is the only player to have confirmed interest from Scott Satterfield and the Louisville football program.

After announcing his intent to transfer from Arizona, the Cards reached out to the three-year defensive back and were able to set up a visit in mid-April.

While injuries were a huge part of his tenure in Tuscon, the 6’1″ 190 pounder put together 58 tackles, 2.5 for a loss, one sack, and one forced fumble.

Since that visit, there has been no word on whether a scholarship was extended to Hayes, who should have two years of eligibility remaining after graduating this month, but with Louisville having a need for another experienced defensive back it wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility to see Hayes in black and red next season.

Pros: Big time hitter who provides experience to a group who needs it.

Cons: Has a history of suffering from shoulder injuries.
