The NBA Draft withdraw deadline has come and gone, and we now have a firm idea of how the ACC will fall into place. Where will Louisville basketball land in the first early 2019 ACC power rankings?

There was no question that the ACC reigned king supreme in 2018-19 with the Virginia Cavaliers winning the 2019 NCAA Championship and Zion Williamson being Zion Williamson. But outside of Virginia, the conference had so many storylines that kept the nation’s eyes glued on a night-by-night basis, including Williamson, FSU and Virginia Tech making nice runs in the conference, the battle for the top four seeds, and for Louisville basketball fans the incredible start to a new era under Chris Mack.

While we’ve had a general idea of how the way too early conference standings may shake out heading into the 2019 offseason, the coaching carousel, annual free agency (aka transfer market) period, and the NBA Draft provided muddiness and made it too difficult to know what all 15 rosters may look like come opening night.

Now that the coaching carousel has stopped spinning (at least for now) and the May 29th deadline to withdraw from the draft has passed, we can now go from putting teams in order based off who is returning and what players have committed, to actually knowing what final rosters will look like and where team’s can be placed.

Yes, it is still way too early for us to know if there’s any chance this is right, but even with that being said it’s list season and now is the perfect time to release the Big Red Louie ACC power rankings.

Who ranks atop the nation’s top conference post-Zion? Let’s find out.
