Louisville basketball: Post NBA Draft deadline ACC power rankings
By Jacob Lane
5. North Carolina State
Departing: Torin Dorn, Wyatt Walker, Eric Lockett
Notable returnees: Markell Johnson, C.J. Bryce, Devon Daniels, Braxton Beverly
Newcomers: Sacha Kileya-Jones (Transfer – Kentucky), Pat Andree (Grad transfer – Lehigh)
After missing the 2019 NCAA Tournament, NC State and Kevin Keatts will look to bounce back, and that is exactly what I believe they’ll do in 2019-2020.
Even though they lose Torin Dorn, the teams leading scorer (14.0 ppg) a year ago, they will return six of their top seven scorers and will add former five-star recruit Sacha Kileya-Jones as a transfer from Kentucky as well as two more graduate transfers in Pat Andree and Danny Dixon.
Markell Johnson and C.J. Bryce will be two of the most prolific guards in the ACC and will be complemented well with DJ Funderburk, Kileya-Jones, and Jericole Hellems inside. Surprisingly, the Wolfpack will be one of the most experienced teams across the board in the ACC.
